Statement of Faith

  1. We affirm the Bible, both the Old and New Testaments, as God's inspired and authoritative Word, without error in its original text. It holds supreme authority in faith and life and aligns with God's instruction and spoken word through the Holy Spirit.

  2. We affirm and worship one God, eternally existent in three persons, sharing a divine essence/unity: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

  3. We affirm the nature of God the Father, Creator of all things visible and invisible, who embodies perfect love, wisdom, and sovereignty. He is the source of all existence, providing guidance, protection, and unconditional love to His creation. Through His divine nature, He offers a Fatherly presence to all who seek Him.

  4. We affirm the deity of Jesus Christ, God Himself, eternally existing with all power and knowledge. He was born of the Virgin Mary through the Holy Spirit, fully divine and fully human.

  5. We affirm the indwelling presence and guidance of the Holy Spirit, who serves as counselor, helper, and source of strength for believers. Through the Holy Spirit, we have intimate access to God and are empowered to live out our faith.

  6. We affirm that humanity was created in God's image but fell into sin, resulting in separation from Him. Every person is born with a sinful nature, unable to reconcile with God through their own efforts.

  7. We affirm the fulfillment of prophecies concerning Jesus' life, His crucifixion as an atonement for sins, and His resurrection on the third day, offering new life for humanity. He now sits at God's right hand as the High Priest and advocates for believers.

  8. We affirm that salvation comes solely through faith in Jesus Christ, who served as the substitute for the punishment of our sins by His sacrifice on the cross. Through this faith, believers are reconciled to God and justified.

  9. We affirm the future return of Jesus Christ to reign as Savior and Ruler, as well as the bodily resurrection of both the righteous and the unrighteous—leading to eternal life with God for the just and eternal separation from God for the unjust.

  10. We affirm the Church as a sacred community of believers unified by their faith in Jesus Christ. It is a place of worship, fellowship, discipleship, and service.

Guiding Scriptures

James 1:27
Religion that is pure and undefiled before God the Father is this: to visit orphans and widows in their affliction and to keep oneself unstained from the world.

James 2:14-17
What good is it, my brothers, if someone says he has faith but does not have works? Can that faith save him? If a brother or sister is poorly clothed and lacking in daily food, and one of you says to them, “Go in peace, be warmed and filled,” without giving them the things needed for the body, what good is that? So also faith by itself, if it does not have works, is dead.

John 13:34
A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another: just as I have loved you, you also are to love one another. So now I am giving you a new commandment: Love each other. Just as I have loved you, you should love each other.

Romans 8:15
For you did not receive the spirit of slavery to fall back into fear, but you have received the Spirit of adoption as sons, by whom we cry, “Abba! Father!”
